Ingredients For Strawberries & Cream Overnight Oats

1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 pinch sea salt

1/2 tsp real vanilla

1 tbsp Greek Yogurt

2 tbsp maple syrup: 1 tbsp for the recipe and 1 tbsp for the topping.

1/2 cup Whole Milk or use your favorite milk.

1 1/3 cup Fresh Strawberries: 1 cup for the sauce, and 1/3 cup for fresh toppings.

1/3 cup Foamed Cream For Topping or you can use yogurt.

Directions For Strawberries & Cream Overnight Oats

 1. Prepare the Strawberry Sauce: In a small saucepan cook the strawberries over medium heat. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, mashing the strawberries with a fork as they cook. Once they are soft and the mixture has thickened, remove from heat.

Allow the strawberry sauce to cool and thicken.

2. Prepare the Overnight Oats: In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, chia seeds, salt, vanilla, yogurt, maple syrup and milk. Stir until well combined and no dry pockets of ingredients are left.

3. Wait For Oats To Set A Bit: Wait for about 30 minutes for the oats to thicken before going to the next step of layering.

4. Layering: Take a 12 oz jar and start by adding a layer of the prepared overnight oats mixture at the bottom. Spoon a layer of the strawberry sauce on top of the oats.

Add another layer of the overnight oats on top of the strawberry sauce. Continue alternating layers until the jar is filled, finishing with a layer of the strawberry sauce on top.

5. Refrigerate: Seal the jar with a lid and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and flavors.
