  1. In a saucepan, add the milk, oats and orange rind. Bring to a boil and turn it down to right away so that the milk does not boil over.
  2. Put the heat down so that it’s simmering and cook for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Check the consistency of your oats, add more milk if you want your porridge more creamy instead of thick.
  4. Cook for another 2 minutes and then add in the maple syrup, vanilla and sea salt and give it a final stir.
  5. Top off with the diced orange and almonds.
